Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FaceDiff (“we”) handles information when you use facediff.com.
1. Information we collect
- Photos / face data. Face photos you upload and analysis results derived from them. Details are in “Face data” below.
- Account information. FaceDiff currently works in guest mode without sign-in. Account linking is not active at this time.
- Purchase information. There are currently no paid products. We do not collect payment card details.
- Usage and technical data. Limited technical data for security and abuse prevention, and analytics about how the product is used. Where an IP address is involved, we store only a hashed form — not the raw IP address. Analytics does not include face photos or image contents. We do not use analytics for third-party advertising.
2. Face data
FaceDiff analyzes face photos you choose to submit. This section covers how that data is handled.
What we collect
- Face photos you upload to generate a score .
- Analysis results created from those photos, such as scores and written feedback. These are AI-generated estimates for the feature you requested, not verified identity information.
On-device processing may be used only to help prepare the photo before upload. We do not collect or store facial landmarks, face embeddings, biometric templates, or build a face-recognition database.
How we use it

- Secure the service and prevent abuse
We do not sell face photos or analysis results, use them for third-party advertising, or use your photos to train our own machine-learning models.
Storage
Face photos and related analysis results may be stored on our servers and with cloud infrastructure providers we use to operate FaceDiff (object storage for photos; a database for scores and analysis records), subject to retention and deletion below.
Guest use (without signing in): analysis may still be logged for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and product operation. See retention and deletion below.
Sharing
Face photos are sent to service providers that process them on our behalf solely to generate the scores you request (including AI analysis providers), and to infrastructure providers that store or host that data. We do not post your photos to other users or operate a public gallery of user photos. We do not sell face data.
Retention
Face photos and related analysis results are retained to provide your results, operate the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. They are not deleted automatically after each analysis. We retain them until your deletion request is completed, or longer if required for security or legal reasons.
Deletion
- Data-deletion request: completely deletes all data associated with your use of FaceDiff, including face photos and analysis history . We aim to complete remaining deletion within one day.

3. How we use information
- Provide face analysis, scores, and reports you request
- Operate accounts, process purchases, and provide customer support
- Keep the service secure and prevent abuse
- Understand product usage and improve FaceDiff
4. Retention
Account, purchase, and technical data are kept as needed to operate FaceDiff, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Face-data retention is described in “Face data” above.
5. Sharing
We use service providers that help us run FaceDiff and process data on our behalf (for example sign-in, payments, hosting, analytics, and AI analysis). Face-photo sharing is described in “Face data” above. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Children
FaceDiff is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents and guardians should supervise teens who use appearance-related features.
7. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information.
